  • Users must be 13 years or older.

  • By using QuizMatrix, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and lawful.

3. User Accounts & Guest Access

a) Registered Users

  • Registered users can log in and manage their quizzes or attempts.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

b) Guest Users

  • Guests may attempt quizzes without registration.

  • Guest attempts are tracked using temporary browser sessions.

  • Clearing browser data may result in loss of guest attempt history.

4. Quiz Attempts, Scores & Results

  • Quiz attempts, answers, and scores are stored for result calculation and leaderboard display.

  • Attempt limits may be applied based on quiz settings.

  • QuizMatrix does not guarantee the correctness or completeness of quiz content.

5. Leaderboards & Public Display

  • Leaderboards are generated automatically based on scores and performance.

  • Display names (user or guest) may be shown publicly.

  • QuizMatrix is not responsible for disputes related to rankings or scores.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property (Creator Content)

6.1 Responsibility of Quiz Creators

Creators who publish quizzes on QuizMatrix are solely responsible for the content they upload, including:

  • Questions and answers

  • Images, passages, explanations, or diagrams

  • Logos, trademarks, or third-party materials

Creators must ensure their content does not violate copyright, trademark, or intellectual property laws.

6.2 Use of Copyrighted Material

Creators must not upload content that:

  • Is copied from copyrighted books, exams, paid courses, or websites

  • Is protected by copyright without proper permission or license

  • Violates the rights of publishers, institutions, or exam authorities

If copyrighted material is used, the creator must have explicit permission or ensure the use qualifies as fair use, where applicable.

6.3 Platform Disclaimer

QuizMatrix:

  • Does not verify the originality or copyright ownership of user-generated content

  • Acts only as a hosting and display platform

  • Is not legally responsible for copyright violations committed by creators

Any legal liability arising from quiz content lies entirely with the creator.

6.4 Content Removal

QuizMatrix reserves the right to:

  • Remove or disable access to any content that violates copyright laws

  • Suspend or terminate creator accounts in case of repeated violations

Such actions may be taken without prior notice.

6.5 Copyright Complaints

If you believe any content on QuizMatrix infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

  • Upload illegal, offensive, misleading, or infringing content

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the platform or database

  • Misuse quizzes for spam or malicious purposes

Violation may result in suspension or permanent removal.

8. Privacy & Data Usage

  • QuizMatrix collects limited data such as quiz attempts, scores, and display names.

  • Authentication and data storage are handled securely using third-party services (e.g., Supabase).

  • QuizMatrix does not sell or misuse personal data.

9. Service Availability & Modifications

  • QuizMatrix is provided “as is” without warranties.

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

  • Continued use after updates implies acceptance of revised terms.

  • Loss of data or quiz attempts

  • Technical issues or service interruptions

  • Decisions made based on quiz results
